SKIIP LUCIANO IS UP NEXT!!

Sheddrick "Skip" Gibbs, aka "Skiip Luciano" was Born in Hanau, Germany to military parents. After moving around frequently as most military kids do, his family finaly settled in the rough and diverse city of Durham, NC. Currently he is based in Greenville.
Skip and his 5 siblings were raised by his single mother with help from his late grandmother. Skip was always artistically gifted. "He could draw and paint very well before he could spell his name" his mother notes. He was a solid student who loved to read and write but was also known for being a bit of a trouble maker and "class clown." Skip is Currently an accomplished Tattooer/ Visual Artist at a renowned studio.

Since a young boy, he was always fascinated with anything retro. Skip often hung out with his grandmother and her friends at "liquor houses" where he was exposed to all types of music. He began writing music in his early teens and "freestyling" to himself as he skateboarded in his free time.
Skip decided to pursue music seriously in 2008 with encouragement from friends and family. His influences include Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr, Nirvana, Nas, Jay-Z, Rakim, Outkast, Scarface, Mumford and Sons, Manchester Orchestra, The Ethnographers, UGK, The Staple Singers, Aaron Neville among many others not listed.
After the release of his well recieved Mixtape "Extra Cool" in 2008 Skip was aproached by several labels (including Columbia) but turned them down in an effort to maintain creative control.
With a combination of his love for so many Genres, his unique voice and delivery and humble personality, Skiip Luciano is sure to become a well known artist in the TRUE HIP-HOP scene.
